A little pricey, but the food was really good. My husband and i liked the stuffed mushrooms and prosciutto wrapped mozzarella for appetizers

The atmosphere of the place was nice and though some reviews seemed hesitant on the staff i found the servers to be good at what they do and were extremely nice and welcoming. Among this the food was amazing in presentation and in taste. All together, I'd suggest coming here when it's not busy or during the weekday to enjoy a good meal and to enjoy the peaceful nature of this little place.

This is the only place I eat Italian food in this area. The food and the atmosphere transports me back too many fond memories eating in sidewalk cafes in Rome.

Great experience here! Our server AJ was new on the job but very willing to learn about the food he hadn't tried. The food was fresh with hearty portions. We will. Be coming back here as there aren't very many Italian restaurants around us and the experience was worth another visit.

The food was pretty good. However, the wait was very long. The waiter did however say that a lot of people had called in that day so that may have been the reason. I will say the sweet tea is the best I've ever tasted. No complaints about the food and the staff was very friendly.

I actually liked the dishes and service, great area nearby to my home. The workers are always welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

They tried to charge more than what the menu said. They steak was not worth 29 dollars.

My wife and I ate dinner there November 1st. We were very disappointed the garlic nots were stale and not even warm. Our meal was small and came out before we even finished our salad. We felt very rushed. Totally different experience than the first time we ate there. Was planning on taking friends on our next visit. Not sure there will be another visit.

We were visiting from out of state. We enjoyed the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella, tiramisu, lasagna bolognese, shrimp marinara, and garlic knots. It was much more than a meal. It was a culinary experience. The flavors didn't compete. They complimented one another layer by later. My advice is to come hungry so you can savor every bite fully. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

Restaurant was as hot indoors as out. We were miserable as temp had to have been 84. Food was so-so. Service was poor. They are clearly in over their heads. Online menu looked good but sauce seemed canned. Checked this one off my list.

The waitress was great! Garlic knots come out with marinara and are to die for! The chef even came out and talked with us and gave us some of his house made marinara. The main courses were unanimously enjoyed. Highly recommended.

Great Italian food.

We really enjoy this place and probably don't go as often as we should. The food is always delicious but they always seemed overwhelmed. Service isn't the quickest so sit back, relax, and enjoy your meal. If you want quick go to Fazolis, if you want delicious authentic Italian, go here enjoy the atmosphere, coziness, and your company.

Perfect dishes. Great pairing of an Italian malbec with dinner....again. Loved it.

The food was not great. Now the shrimp bruschetta was amazing. After that I didnt even eat a meal. The price us ridiculous for the taste and cleanliness of the place.

This place is simply wonderful. Our server was excellent. The food was great.

This place is fantastically authentic. I've tried their carbonara, marsala, and ravioli, and wasn't disappointed at all. Decor is charming, and drink selections are more than adequate. Outside seating if nice. Staff are super friendly and owner/chef is very social. Prices were low enough to surprise me a bit when we got the bill.

Meh food, meh bar, outdated decor. Not impressed.

I went to New Albany for surgery and my family and I made a stop here. Outstanding customer service, wonderful food and lovely environment. I will recommend Bella's to all my friends, family and to you reader's.

LOVE the atmosphere!!!! So romantic!! Plus great place to go with a group...and enjoy a lovely meal. We really enjoyed the fried zucchini ...still crispy inside and so tasty. The marinara is addictive...so tasty. I had the chicken marsala and it was okay..just not crazy about the brown sauce instead of the fab marinara. It's probably the authentic way but...

Good pasta and they have decent wine too. My go to is their chicken parmesana. I also love their house garlic bread dip in marinara sauce!

This is an amazing local restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely and romantic, yet casual at the same time. I had the Eggplant Rollatini and it was phenomenal. The dinner bread was flaky and fluffy, with very good Marinara sauce. The tiramisu was excellent and perfectly made. I highly recommend. They know what they're doing when it comes to Italian food.

I've been here quite a few times and have had several different items from the menu. Fried ravioli, calamari, and Greek salad are all really great. As far as entrees, the daily special has never disappointed. The eggplant parmesan or shrimp scampi might be my favorites of what I've had so far, but my boyfriend once got spaghetti and meatballs which were very, very good. I also think that the amount of food that you receive for the price is really good.

Very empty on Sunday evening - only two other groups came in for the hour we were there. Service was friendly and quick. Food was good. The bread rolls with garlic were amazing! I had the amaticiana and enjoyed it - brought home the leftovers!

I enjoyed our server Jason everythong else was just ok.the food was bland it looked beautiful on delivered to the table. I wont be returning ever.

The prices were reasonable and expected. The service was excellent. The food was delicious. We will return.

We are here during a family wedding reception, for a party over twenty people, they handled us with the utmost respect, the staff was so pleasant and took care of everybody with ease, the meals were fantastic, a huge helping, most needed to go boxes, the pasta dishes are wonderful, from the variety of choices, a good many had something different, it was all very good, the salads are also very delicious, as the desserts to, the cheesecake was the best , I'd definitely want to stop here again if and when I make my way back to New Albany Indiana

Manda and I tried this place for the first time today. Our meal was served hot and was spiced very nicely. Serving staff was very nice and punctual, Gabriel is your guy. The garlic knots weren’t bad just wish they’d been a bit fresher. The price tag of $50 for two entrees an appetizer and desert for two, not half bad at all. The decor was nice and clean, the art was beautiful and felt authentic. Would definitely go back.

Bella Roma is a gem in New Albany. Delicious food, friendly staff, cozy and comfortable atmosphere, and reasonable prices. It's easy to get to, and easy to find parking nearby. I highly recommend it!

Nice spot with great food

Best Italian I have had in a very long time. Reasonable prices, though friends treated us. And the staff was so kind. We sat there with our friends talking for about 3 hours and then never tried to hustle us out the door. I will be going back!

Food so delicious my mouth waters at the thought of it. I am completely addicted to the linguini and clams with white wine sauce. For dessert the chocolate mousse cake is to die for. Owner is kind and friendly as are the staff.

Our waitress was bad.. I waited for a refill of water for my whole meal.. My calamari ..some was under cooked and the rest was over cooked. My baked ziti Bolognese was cold and watered down... And not baked... I asked to see a manger but never saw one..

We had 6 at the table and everyone loved their choice. I had the shrimp scampi and it was fabulous.

Excellent service and the meal was perfect!

The food was good, but not enough of it, especially for the price. We got the Lobster Ravioli - there were a grand total of 5 - and the Shrimp Linguine.

Was disappointed with our valentines experience. Had reservations at 6:30pm, was out of there in 45 minutes. They had a limited menu, put paper over the cloth table cloths, was told the food would come out quickly. Was like they were rushing you in and out as to get as many people they could for Valentines. Probably won’t go back. Was overpriced as well.
